One roof pays for the desk for more than four years.
We do not have the company's own job values to publish, so this page uses prices a New Jersey roofer publishes for homeowners, and shows the source. The arithmetic is yours to check.
The published prices
| Job, northern New Jersey, 2026 | Published range |
|---|---|
| Roof repair (localized damage, minor leaks) | $300 – $3,000 |
| Architectural shingle replacement, Hudson County | $13,000 – $19,000 |
| Architectural shingle replacement, Bergen County | $13,000 – $20,000 |
| Full replacement, any material, New Jersey | $8,000 – $25,000+ |
The arithmetic
The desk is $249 a month, month to month. A year is $2,988. A single repair at the top of the published range covers that year. A single replacement at the bottom of the Hudson County range covers 52 months.
At list price, the five weeks on our other pages (September 9 – October 14, 2026) come to about $295. In that time the desk handed the office two homeowners with active roof leaks, both in Hudson County, both with the damage, the area and the times that work already written down.
What we are not claiming
We did not count which of those conversations became paid jobs, and we are not going to guess. Whether a qualified homeowner becomes a job depends on the roofer, the price and the roof. The desk's part is that the homeowner was not left waiting, and that the call-back started with the facts instead of from zero.

Where the numbers come from. Job prices: R&E Roofing, Roof Replacement Cost in New Jersey (2026), updated September 2026; a New Jersey contractor's published homeowner pricing, not ours and not the company's in these case studies. Replacement prices are for a home of about 2,000 sq ft and include materials, labor, tear-off, disposal and permits. Lead counts: the desk's own ledger, September 9 – October 14, 2026.
