NurLead DeskStart the free week

Half the house has no power and you are on a ladder.

A lead desk for electrical contractors. Every call you cannot take gets a text in a minute, the questions you would have asked, and an alert the moment someone is ready for a visit.

Missed call, texted back in a minute

You are on a ladder with the power off. The homeowner gets a text from your company instead of a voicemail beep.

It sorts the emergency from the estimate

Dead outlets today, a panel upgrade next month, a charger before the car arrives. The desk asks which one it is, so your callback is not a discovery call.

The estimates get chased

A service upgrade quote sits in an inbox for weeks. Four follow-ups over two weeks, and it stops the moment they reply.

Measured on a real contractor's line in New Jersey

August 2026, at a roofing company whose marketing we run. Our numbers, not a vendor's. The phone behaves the same in every trade. Only the size of the job changes.

59 calls

came in during one normal week. 8 were answered.

16 leads at $73

from Meta in one month. Good leads, fair price.

15 of 16

never got a real conversation. The homeowners moved on.

Panel upgrades and EV chargers are planned jobs that start with an unplanned phone call, and the homeowner making it has three other electricians in the same search results.

How it works

  1. 1

We give you a local number. Two minutes, nothing to install.

  2. 2

You forward the calls you don't pick up to it. One carrier code on your phone, reversible any time.

  3. 3

You keep answering from your phone like always. Only what you miss reaches the desk.

What a thread looks like

Homeowner on the left, the desk on the right. Nothing here was written by a person. Company names in the example are invented.

This is Kearny Electric. Sorry we missed your call. What is going on, and what town are you in?
half the outlets in my kitchen are dead. also the microwave. Bloomfield
Dead outlets in the kitchen, Bloomfield. Did anything trip in the panel, or did it go out on its own?
I flipped the breakers already, nothing. some outlet in the bathroom has a button on it
That button is worth pressing. If it clicks and the kitchen comes back, you are done and you owe nobody anything. Did it?
no it doesnt click. still dead
Ok, that is a real call then. Is someone home tomorrow morning?
yes. 7 Grove Ter. also I want a quote for a car charger while youre here
7 Grove Ter, Bloomfield, tomorrow morning, and a charger quote at the same visit. Someone will call to confirm the time.

What the desk never does

  • Quote a price
  • Promise an arrival time
  • Talk about insurance claims
  • Text anyone who didn't contact you first
  • Keep texting after someone says stop

It does not answer the phone with a voice. Plenty of tools do that for $30. This is the part they skip: the follow-up.

Questions electrical contractors ask

Why would I want it telling people to press a reset button?

Because the ones that fix themselves were never your job, and the ones that do not are now qualified before you drive out. A homeowner who was told the free thing first tends to trust the invoice for the rest.

Does it handle commercial calls too?

It answers the same way and flags anything that mentions a business, a landlord or a permit straight to you, because those are the calls where the person on the phone is not the decision maker.

Do I have to change my number?

No. You keep your number and your phone. You forward only unanswered calls to a local number we give you. Calls you pick up never touch us.

What do I see?

A text and a Telegram note when a homeowner replies with an address and a time. A short report every morning: calls missed, texted, replied, ready to call. Nothing else.

What happens after the free week?

You get the log. If it caught nothing, you owe nothing and you turn the forwarding off. If it did, it is $249 a month, month to month, cancel any time.

We already use an answering service.

Keep it. Run the free week beside it and compare the two logs. Ours does not stop at the first text, it follows up for ten days, and it has no contract.
